This page describes each user role available when adding a user to your company, and the access each role grants across the different areas of the platform. For instructions on adding, editing, and removing users, see User Roles and Permissions.

How access levels work

Every role is a bundle of permissions. Each permission grants an action (such as read, create, update, delete, export, or download) on a specific kind of data (such as policies, claims, or files). The tables below summarize each role’s access using the following levels:
In AI Insurance, events is the umbrella term for claims and incidents — see Understanding Events. Roles with write access to events can manage claims, incidents, and the related attorneys and law firms.

Role comparison

¹ Can create and delete form templates but cannot edit existing ones. ² Write access is limited to broker and brokerage files; broker and brokerage records themselves are read-only. ³ Write access is limited to insured forms; other insured data is read and export only.
