When a policy is approaching expiration or has expired, you can renew it to create a new policy period. The renewal process follows the same workflow as creating a new policy.

Step 1: Navigate to the Policy

  1. Click the Policies tab in the sidebar to open the Policies page.
  2. Find and select the policy you want to renew.
  3. Click on the policy to open its details page.

Step 2: Start the Renewal Process

  1. On the policy details page, locate the Actions dropdown in the top-right corner.
  2. Click the Actions dropdown to view available options.
  3. Select Renew Policy from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Complete the Policy Creation Process

After clicking Renew Policy, you will be redirected to the policy creation workflow. Follow the same steps as creating a new policy:

The renewal process will guide you through:
  • Setting up policy details
  • Adding or updating exposures
  • Configuring coverages
  • Reviewing billing information
  • Attaching forms
  • Final review and confirmation
Once you complete the policy creation workflow, the renewed policy will be created with a new policy period.
